TANNING - A 4 Step Plan

Step 1 Planning

Start by getting expert advice. All our tanning consultants at Simply tanning are fully trained to give you the expert advice for your skin type. Whether you are tanning indoors or out, their advice is free.

 

Step 2 Prepare 

Healthy, nourished skin is the key to a great looking skin. Moisturising is vital for building and maintaining a great looking tan.  Simply tanning offer a range of quality tanning and skin care products to suit every skin type.

Step 3 Tanning

Start slowly with low exposure and gradually build up as your tan develops. Tan regularly for the first few weeks until your tan peaks. Always leaving 48 hours between tanning sessions to allow your skin to re coup and for the melanin activated by the Ultra Violet light from the previous sessions to oxidise (Turn Brown) remembering that Simply Tanning promotes responsible tanning at all times.

Step 4 After Tanning

After tanning, showering or bathing in between tanning sessions, to keep your skin supple, moisturised and healthy. To maintain your tan longer always use quality moisturisers especially formulated for "tanners" which moisturise the skin for up to 12 hours, as well as encouraging the production and oxidisation of more melanin ready for the next tanning session.
